Sony will Finally use the Bezel-Less Display Paired With Spectacular Hardware on Xperia XZ2 & Xperia XZ2 Compact.
Sony claims of letting go of the top and bottom bezels, finally. The company had been using the bezels for some time now, and now has decided to give up the design ofter some criticism . When the MWC 2018 trade show will finally kick off this Sunday, the company is expected to introduce its first redesigned high-end phones for 2018 and they are named the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact.
According to the American blogger, Evan Nelson Blass, “The 5.7-inch Xperia XZ2 and the 5-inch Xperia XZ2 Compact have nearly the same features. The handsets will come with Android 8.0 Oreo right off the bat and both phones are going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845.” The XZ2 will be embedded with glass on both of the sides aluminum body. It will come with the largest screen-to-body ratio on any Xperia device ever. The glossy phones will be launched in the following colors:
- Silver
- Black
- Green
- Pink
However, the XZ2 Compact has a polycarbonate finish with the full HD LCDs incorporated on both phones being protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. On the rear of the phones, there is a 19-megapixel, F/1.8 camera setup, similar to the one we saw on the XZ Premium. It is capable of making 4K HDR video and has one of the best slow motion feature in Full HD resolution. Although , the camera on XZ2 compact is slightly different when compared to the one on XZ2.
On the front, there are S Force stereo speakers, with the Xperia XZ2 featuring a haptic feedback system which syncs vibrations with the sound. As for the battery capacity, the Xperia XZ2 has a 3,180 mAh cell which can be charged with a Type-C USB connection or through wireless induction.
